6TH Annual Aspen Conference on Pediatric
Cerebrovascular Disease and Stroke

July 12-14, 2023

Thought leaders in this emerging field will convene over the course of three days to share ideas, learn and create pathways to deliver cutting edge care to pediatric and young adult cerebrovascular and stroke patients.

Use this time to relax and refresh as you experience fresh mountain air and stunning views.  It’s a great way to cure burnout after a challenging few years.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The organizers of the 6th Annual Aspen Conference on Pediatric Cerebrovascular Disease and Stroke invite submission of abstracts for presentation at the meeting on July 13, 2023.

The poster session is intended to broaden attendees understanding of work being done in the field and show the breadth of cerebrovascular disease in children.  The principal selection criteria for the abstract is educational value for conference attendees.  Topics may include:

  • Basic science
  • Vascular developmental biology
  • Novel clinical approaches
  • Quality improvement efforts
  • Interesting cases

Projects may be presented previously in poster or printed form.  There is no restriction on publication or embargo on abstracts accepted for this meeting.

Cancellation Policy
Early registration is recommended, as attendance is limited. Cancellations received on or before June 20, 2023 are fully refundable. After June 20, 2023, a $75 processing fee will be charged for cancellations. 

Should Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center cancel this conference, registration fees will be reimbursed in full. However, Cincinnati Children’s is not responsible for any other costs incurred by the participant.
Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. Specific accreditation information will be provided for each activity.

Physicians: This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.

Nurses: This activity is approved for continuing nursing education (CNE) contact hours.

ABP & ABIM MOC Part 2:  Successful completion of this CME activity enables the participant to earn MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) and American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) programs. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP and ABIM MOC credit.

IPCE: This activity was planned by and for the healthcare team, and learners will receive Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) credits for learning and change.

Reciprocity: CME and IPCE are accepted with reciprocity by many boards. Please check with the board/licensing organization for your state/license.

Stated rates do not include state and local taxes. A resort fee of $25 plus tax per day will be added onto the room charge. Resort fee includes round trip airport transportation (to/fromAspen Airport), wi-fi access throughout the property, and complimentary fitness studio access.

Attendees are HIGHLY encouraged to make reservations as soon as possible for the 2023 conference. 


Air Travel Information
Aspen-Pitkin County Airport/Sardy Field (ASE) is approximately 7 miles from Snowmass Village and 4 miles from the Aspen business district. The airport is served by United Airlines and American Airlines regional jets. Complimentary ground transportation to and from the airport is offered to attendees staying at the Viceroy Snowmass hotel.

Denver International Airport (DIA) is approximately a 3.5 hour drive to/from Snowmass Village.
