Limit of 1 presenter per abstract

Completed electronic bio- disclosure for the presenter and any listed authors

Intended audience: Primary Care or Acute Care

500 total word limit

Should reflect one of the following categories:

Education – Leadership, advocacy, ethics, education, public policy

Evidence-based practice

Research

Quality Improvement

Clinical Expertise:  We are specifically looking for content on the following topics but will consider all dynamic pediatric content experts: Common pediatric primary care illnesses, Antibiotic update, Mental Health, Neonatal topics, Acute Care Management (trauma, cerebral edema, transplant)

Criteria for Review: Scoring for each criteria will be: Excellent=3, Good=2, Acceptable=1, Not acceptable=0

Criteria for Education: Title, Purpose and rationale, Program development, Program implementation, Outcomes, and Evaluation.

Criteria for Evidence-Based Practice: Title, Problem/Issue background and rationale, Critical appraisal of evidence, Project/EBP practice change description, Evaluation, and Implications for practice.

Criteria for Research: Title, Background and significance, Purpose, Method, Results – discussion, and Conclusion.

Criteria for Quality Improvement: Title, Background/Problem, Objective, Method, Findings, and Conclusions/Implications for Practice.

Criteria for Clinical Content:  Title, Presenter’s background/experience demonstrating expert status in content area.

All Abstracts must be received by October 15, 2019 at 12:00 pm (noon) EST. Authors will be notified of acceptance by early November 2019.  All accepted presenters must be able to attend the conference on May 1, 2020 and will be required to register.
