Neonatology Grand Rounds 2024 - Social determinants of maternal health and prematurity are not understood well. The causes of regional differences in prematurity and health outcomes are not known. Improving outcomes for infant mortality requires current and continuous review or region specific morbidity and mortality data. Thus, Neonatologists, Obstetrician, and MFM need a need access to current research, QI initiatives and appropriate use of benchmarking data is needed to improve infant mortality.
