The Nurse Builders CPEN Review Course provides a comprehensive and up-to-date review of pediatric emergency nursing care based on the CPEN Exam content outline. Participants receive information that will not only promote certification exam success, but will also enhance clinical nursing practice.

1. Review and enhance test taking skills
2. Decrease anxiety related to the Pediatric CPEN exam
3. Identify resources for Pediatric CCRN Exam preparation
4. Identify typical presentation as well as management of pediatric critical care situations
5. Enhance nursing care of infants and children cared for in the emergency department.

This is a 1 day course that requires attendance for both days to receive contact hours.

Matthew Choate, RN, BSN, MBA, CEN, CPEN

Matt Choate is dedicated to preparing pediatric emergency nurses to sit for the CPEN Exam. He is an expert in pediatric emergency nursing, speaker, and author. Matt has dedicated his entire career to the care of emergency and critical care nursing in both the adult and pediatric settings. He was an EMT prior to becoming a nurse. He has been a trainer for basic and advanced life support courses for over 20 years. Currently, Matt works in a pediatric emergency department. He is an authority on the CPEN Exam and review process. He presents this 1-day CPEN Review Course onsite at hospitals across the country.
