Crawford Lectureship 6.7.2019

The 2019 Crawford Lectureship is an educational program consisting of lectures, case presentations and question and answers sessions. It will focus on topics related to the Orthopaedic evaluation and treatment of Early Onset Scoliosis as well as pediatric Sports Injuries.

Topic:  “Spine Tethering: More Questions than Answers”

Additional lectures will be provided by distinguished attending physicians,  alumni and guests

1. Describe 3 characteristics of a pediatric sports injury that differentiate it from an adult injury.
2. Describe the most common techniques used to treat early onset scoliosis and list the associated common complications.
3. Identify which patients would benefit from growth modulation for the treatment of scoliosis.
