Registration

The BPD Symposium: Advances in Diagnosis & Management is designed for Neonatologists, Pulmonologists, Cardiologists, Pediatricians, Advanced Practice Nurses, Nurses, Respiratory Therapists and Researchers involved in the care of patients with Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (BPD). This national conference will provide updates on novel approaches for the imaging, diagnosis, and treatment of BPD in neonates through adults. Topics will include genetic modifiers of BPD severity, updates on the BPD clinical and imaging phenotype, contributions of large and small airway disease to BPD severity, pulmonary hypertension in BPD, and long term outcomes in BPD.

Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.


Physicians: The Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center designates live for a maximum of 5.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

ABP MOC Part II: Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the activity and individual assessment of and feedback to the learner, enables the learner to earn up to 5.75 MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit.

Cincinnati Children’s will upload all points earned January 1 – October 31 in the year in which they were earned. Points earned on or after November 1st will be uploaded to the ABP the following calendar year.

Nurses: This activity is approved for a maximum 5.7 continuing nursing education (CNE) contact hours. 

RT Credit:  Respiratory Therapists can self-claim CEU’s using a certificate of attendance (Non-physician CME).
