  1. Express the value of teamwork and interprofessional communication to improve the long-term outcomes of children of addicted parents
  2. Discuss how caregiver addiction impacts children and factors for resilience
  3. Identify best practice interventions and opportunities to help children and families
  4. Discuss resources to support child and family resilience

Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Cincinnati Children’s and GLADHouse. Cincinnati Children’s is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

CME: Cincinnati Children’s designates this live activity for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
