Regional Cystic Fibrosis Clinical Updates 8.5.2023

Join us for the first Regional Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Clinical Update on Saturday August 5th, 2023! Our hope is that this will be an annual conference in our region that migrates locations amongst our cities.  We have invited CF centers, specialists, and primary care providers from the Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton, Indianapolis, Kentucky and West Virginia regions. The goal of this conference is to provide state-of-the-art clinical updates for various aspects of CF care for the non-pulmonologist/non-CF doctor, specifically targeting primary care providers, specialists (ENT, GI, Endocrinology), as well as junior faculty and new team members. The goal of this meeting is not to be research presentations, but instead general overviews of CF care that are current and evidence based. We are excited to have Dr. JP Clancy, Senior Vice President of Clinical Research with the CF Foundation, as our keynote speaker, addressing CF in 2023. Our session speakers are experts in CF specific care from all over the region. We will also have interactive breakout sessions addressing nuances of CF care specifically in the era of highly effective modulator therapy. CME will be offered for those in attendance. Attendance is limited. We hope to see you there!

Psychology: Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological  Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs. Eligible for ethics/cultural competency/professional conduct.

 

IPCE: This activity was planned by and for the healthcare team, and learners will receive Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) credits for learning and change.
