Overview
This educational event is thoughtfully put together to meet the needs of many healthcare providers as they care for patients with pregnancies complicated by fetal anomalies. The course is ideal for maternal-fetal medicine specialists, obstetricians, genetic counselors, nurses, pediatric subspecialties, including but not limited to, neonatologists, geneticists, cardiologists, radiologists, neurosurgeons, nephrologists, urologists, developmental pediatricians, surgeons; as well as residents, fellows, trainees, social workers, ultrasound technicians, and fetal center coordinators.

Regional, national and international experts scheduled to speak about complex twins, congenital hydrocephalus and prenatal intervention for congenital HCP, supporting families considering fetal interventions for BOO and fetal renal failure, the pathway of care for infants/children with fetal ESKD and renal transplantation for children diagnosed with fetal renal failure.

Objectives
  1. Define congenital hydrocephalus and postnatal treatment.
  2. Discuss prenatal intervention studies in congenital hydrocephalus.
  3. Identify potential complications encountered in pregnancies with multiples and how the healthcare team manages these complications.
  4. Describe current interventions used by the healthcare team in fetal renal failure.
  5. Discuss post-natal treatment used by the healthcare team for fetal renal failure.

Registration

This conference will be held on 9/29/23 from 12-5 (social event at 6:30 - Fowling) and 9/30/23 from 7-4:30.  The registration fee below includes both days.

Practicing Physicians - $250 
Physician in Training, nurses, other clinical personnel, and genetic counselors - $175 
Virtual Registration - $150

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations received before August 25, 2023 are fully refundable.  Cancellations after August 25, 2023 are refundable but have a $50 fee.

In support of improving patient care, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
