This newly unified event merges NeoFest and the Annual Regional Perinatal Summit into one dynamic experience, bringing together clinical and public health experts to explore key topics in fetal care, maternal health, neonatal outcomes, and complex prenatal diagnoses. Designed for professionals in neonatology, maternal-fetal medicine, and public health, the Summit fosters collaboration and innovation to improve outcomes for pregnant individuals and newborns.

Objectives
  1. Describe the epidemiology, identification, prevention and management of common newborn conditions including cytomegalovirus and ankyloglossia.
  2. Recognize challenges in the governance, implementation, and delivery of trustworthy, equitable, and clinically responsible maternal-fetal interventions.
  3. Discuss recent advances in maternal-fetal interventions, the evolution of maternal-fetal care centers, and implications for clinical care and patient outcomes.
  4. Integrate compassionate, team-based, and culturally-inclusive strategies in maternal, fetal, and neonatal care.
  5. Examine the oversight and implementation of innovative technology in maternal-fetal care, emphasizing ethical, equitable, and shared decision-making models.
  6. Analyze collective progress, strategies, and data contributing to the decrease in infant mortality in Hamilton County, Ohio.

Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Physician: This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.

Nursing: This activity is approved for continuing nursing education (CNE) contact hours.

AAPA: Cincinnati Children’s has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. The total number of approved credits is yet to be determined.

MOCpt2: Successful completion of this CME activity enables the participant to earn MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics' (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit.

IPCE: This activity was planned by and for the healthcare team, and learners will receive Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) credits for learning and change.
