The organizers of the 9th Annual Aspen Conference on Pediatric Cerebrovascular Disease and Stroke invite submission of abstracts for presentation at the meeting on July 13, 2026.

The oral abstract session is intended to broaden attendees understanding of work being done in the field and show the breadth of cerebrovascular disease in children. The principal selection criteria for the abstract is educational value for conference attendees.

Objectives
  1. Identify the risk factors, epidemiology and mechanisms of various pediatric cerebrovascular diseases
  2. Discuss the pathophysiology of pediatric cerebrovascular diseases and stroke evolution
  3. Utilize the evidence-based principles of management for cerebrovascular diseases with or without stroke in children
  4. Collaboratively treat cerebrovascular diseases across profession and discipline.
  5. Create team consensus on best practice/treatment guidelines.

Cancellation Policy
Early registration is recommended, as attendance is limited. Cancellations received on or before June 16, 2025 are fully refundable. After June 16, 2025, a $75 processing fee will be charged for cancellations.  

Should Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center cancel this conference, registration fees will be reimbursed in full. However, Cincinnati Children’s is not responsible for any other costs incurred by the participant.


Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
 

Physician: This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.

Nursing: This activity is approved for continuing nursing education (CNE) contact hours. 

Physician Assistants: Cincinnati Children’s has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. The total number of approved credits is yet to be determined.. 

MOCpt2: Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the activity and individual assessment of and feedback to the learner, enables the learner to earn MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit.

IPCE: This activity was planned by and for the healthcare team, and learners will receive Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) credits for learning and change.
