  2. Discuss the effects of maternal addiction and mental health on the ability to parent
  3. Identify the effects of in utero substance exposure and affected parenting on school age outcomes
  4. Illustrate the Strengthening Families Program’s protective factors framework
  5. Please see prepared matrix for the remaining objective. The system is not allowing additional objectives to be added.

Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Cincinnati Children’s and GLADHouse. Cincinnati Children’s is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

CME: Cincinnati Children’s designates this live activity for a maximum of 5.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

MOC Part 2: Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the activity and individual assessment of and feedback to the learner, enables the learner to earn up to 5.0 MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Psychology:  Cincinnati Children’s is approved by the Ohio Psychological Association-CME Program to offer continuing education for psychologists.  Cincinnati Children’s (provider #310833936), maintains responsibility for the program.  This program is approved for 5.0 hours.

Teachers (LPDC): 5.0 Contact Hours of Educator Credit are provided.  Final approval of Certificates of Participation will be determined by your Local Professional Development Committee (LPDC).  Keep all Certificates of Participation with your Individual Professional Development Plan (IPDP).
