Overview

After much deliberation, the FemInPEM Conference Committee has decided to move the 2021 hybrid conference to a virtual platform. We believe this is the best decision for our community moving forward.

FemInPEM aims to provide a unique conference networking opportunity for allies and advocates of women working in pediatric emergency medicine (PEM). Our goal is to highlight challenges and solutions for promoting equity and advancement of women in our professional field.


Objectives
  1. Identify challenges women experience in pediatric medicine and pediatric emergency medicine.
  2. Employ rescourses to help create equity for women in pediatric medicine and pediatric emergency medicine.

Registration

Registration Fees:
Faculty and Advance Practitioner - $150
Trainee - $75

Cancellation Policy:

Early registration is recommended. Cancellations received on or before 9/12/21 are fully refundable.  Cancellations received 9/13/21 – 10/5/21 are 50% refundable.  On or after 10/6/21, no refunds will be provided.


Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. 

Physician: Cincinnati Children’s designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

Nursing: This activity is approved for a maximum 6.0 continuing nursing education (CNE) contact hours.

This activity was planned by and for the healthcare team, and learners will receive 6.0 Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) credits for learning and change.
