Overview

Thought leaders in this emerging field will convene over the course of one week to share ideas, learn and create pathways to deliver cutting edge care to pediatric and young adult cerebrovascular and stroke patients.

Objectives:
-Identify the risk factors, epidemiology and mechanisms of various pediatric
cerebrovascular
-Discuss the pathophysiology of pediatric cerebrovascular diseases and stroke
evolution
-Utilize the evidence -based principles of management for cerebrovascular diseases with or without stroke in children  

Objectives
  1. Identify the risk factors, epidemiology and mechanisms of various pediatric cerebrovascular diseases
  2. Discuss the pathophysiology of pediatric cerebrovascular diseases and stroke evolution
  3. Utilize the evidence-based principles of management for cerebrovascular diseases with or without stroke in children
  4. Collaboratively treat cerebrovascular diseases across profession and discipline.

Registration

After July 1, 2022

Cancellation Policy:
Early registration is recommended, as attendance is limited. Cancellations received on or before June 20, 2022 are fully refundable. After June 20, 2022, a $75 processing fee will be charged for cancellations. 

Should Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center cancel this conference, registration fees will be reimbursed in full. However, Cincinnati Children’s is not responsible for any other costs incurred by the participant.

Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Physicians: This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.

Nurses: This activity is approved for continuing nursing education (CNE) contact hours.

ABP & ABIM MOC Part 2:  Successful completion of this CME activity enables the participant to earn MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) and American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) programs. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP and ABIM MOC credit.

IPCE: This activity was planned by and for the healthcare team, and learners will receive Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) credits for learning and change.

Reciprocity: CME and IPCE are accepted with reciprocity by many boards. Please check with the board/licensing organization for your state/license.

Air Travel:
Aspen-Pitkin County Airport/Sardy Field (ASE) is approximately 7 miles from Snowmass Village and 4 miles from the Aspen business district. The airport is served by Delta, United Airlines, American Airlines regional jets. Complimentary ground transportation to and from the airport is offered to attendees staying at the Viceroy Snowmass hotel.

Denver International Airport (DIA) is approximately a 3.5 hour drive to/from Snowmass Village.

If you decide to fly to Denver, there are a number of shuttle options to the Aspen area.
