Overview

Evidence-based research is consistently providing new and innovative pediatric nursing treatments, best practices, and care delivery options. Pediatric nurses must remain competent and current in their practice, particularly in the areas of the nursing process, documentation, medication administration, communication, and professional development. The Nursing GrandRounds (NGR) presentations will address these core competencies with up-to-date evidence and best practice recommendations. The NGR program will also address specific needs of the nurse identified by Cincinnati Children's as strategic priorities. Pediatric nurses must grow and adapt in their practice in order to contribute to optimal patient outcomes.

Accreditation
