Overview

Under the directorship of conference chair, William Balistreri, MD, Pediatric Gastrointestinal Disease and Small Bowel Transplantation is the 41st in a series of annual “Aspen-Snowmass” conferences. Our previous conferences have been well-attended, highly regarded and widely lauded. A renowned faculty has been invited to participate.

The conference will focus on recent advances in the diagnosis and management of children with a wide variety of gastrointestinal diseases. Topics include:

The conference format includes didactic lectures and case presentations held each morning with ample time for discussion and audience participation.

  2. Discuss the pathophysiology of pediatric gastrointestinal diseases
  3. Apply evidence-based principles of management of gastrointestinal diseases in children

Registration

On or before July 1, 2019
o    Practicing Physicians - $705
o    Physicians in training, nurses, other clinical personnel - $585
After July 1, 2019
o    Practicing Physicians - $795
o    Physicians in training, nurses, other clinical personnel - $670

Early registration is recommended, as attendance is limited. Cancellations received on or before June 24, 2019 are fully refundable. After June 24, 2019, a $75 processing fee will be charged for cancellations.  

Should Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center cancel this conference, registration fees will be reimbursed in full. However, Cincinnati Children’s is not responsible for any other costs incurred by the participant.


Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

CME: Cincinnati Children’s designates this live activity for a maximum of 21.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

ABP MOC part 2:
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the activity, with individual assessments of the participant and feedback to the participant, enables the participant to earn 18.25 MOC Part 2 Points in the American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program.

Air Travel Information:  
Aspen-Pitkin County Airport/Sardy Field (ASE) is approximately 7 miles from Snowmass Village and 4 miles from the Aspen business district. The airport is served by United Airlines and American Airlines regional jets. Complimentary ground transportation to and from the airport is offered to attendees staying at the Viceroy Snowmass hotel.

Denver International Airport (DIA) is approximately a 3.5 hour drive to/from Snowmass Village.
