UPDATE! 2020 Hemoglobinopathy Counselor Training Course now VIRTUAL

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak the decision was made to transition the 2020 Hemoglobinopathy Counselor Training Course to a VIRTUAL event.  The two-day course will still take place on April 15^th and 16^th, but we will be using Zoom web conferencing to host virtual sessions.  The deadline to register has been extended to April 13th, 2020.

Using lectures and discussion, this course aims to prepare clinicians and hemoglobinopathy counseling professionals to work effectively with patients with hemoglobinopathies by increasing their knowledge of hemoglobin disorders and variants.

Hemoglobinopathy counselors, educators, social workers, nurses and other health professionals

Video recording or live audio or video streaming of any course materials is prohibited.  Violators may be asked to leave the room or session.
