This conference is open to Allied Health professionals working for or collaborating with UC College of Allied Health Sciences and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

The Ethics track is offered for up to is offered for up to 0.4 ASHA CEUs (Intermediate level, Related area)

 This course will describe the ethical principles that lay the foundation for our professional responsibility regarding the allocation of limited therapy resources.  In addition, we will discuss the rationale and need for guidelines when determining the frequency and duration of therapy services.  We will also describe the importance of developing a plan of care that will achieve optimal outcomes based on:  right therapy/intervention; right frequency/duration; right time and will conclude with an explanation of the benefits of a lifespan approach to chronic care using an episodic therapy model.
